Is there a plumber in the house?

My boiler keeps turning itself off and I need some advice from someone who knows about combi boilers.

    It is a Halstead CBX24

It has diagnostic lights which are giving me the following message according to the manual.

Differential check faulty/Flame for 15 seconds Zero check faulty DHW or CH

This means nothing to me and I need to know if there is anything I can do myself or whether I need to go through the pain of trying to find a plumber who will come out.

Trying to find a plumber in Peterborough is about as easy as finding a virgin chavette it seems.

I'm not planning to get into dismantling it or anything, I know you need to know what you're doing with gas appliances, it's just that the last time I had to call out a plumber it turned out to be nothing more than a 10 degree adjustment of one of the valves leading out of the bottom and I'm reluctant to pay a call out charge and about 3 million quid an hour for someone to come and do that.

Can anyone advise? Is it something simple or do I have to get the Yellow Pages out?

I guess that you know that the manual says:
    ● Check flow/return thermister
    ● Check water pressure
    ● Check pump/CH system blockage
    ● Check no air is in heat exchanger/CH system

No, I didn't. My manual doesn't go into that much detail.
    Thanks

mmm, maybe not a CBX24 then but that's what relates to that code/message for a Halstead Ace 24.
