The thing that amazed me about My Doom was the brains behind some ISP/Companies mailsweepers.

They'd bounce the mail back saying "here's the virus you tried to send us".

Wonderful chaps - You ever hear of spoofed mail addresses?

I am still getting an average of 5-10 viruses a day. We had it at my workplace because some smart office brat wondered what's in that .zip file. There are 5000+ addresses in our outlook database and we manage to stop it a few minutes before it was too late.

well, I suppose you could say that your paycheck was way less than usual and suspect because computer virus altered things so much...so just adding those zeros back on...

We don't trust our users at all here - we block all emails with attachments like PIF, VBS, EXE, COM, MSI, SCR (and zips which contain them), plus we disable all the local ports, floppy drive and CD drive

The HR systems are the ones we make absolutely certain are working 100%, especially as it gets closer to pay day
