If it applied to guys and gals, the whole country would be so scared of upsetting someone that nothing would ever happen!

When I joined a lab at my first job my mate Steve told of the time the first woman called Claire joined. Everyone was on their best behaviour, no swearing etc because of her. 10 minutes into the job she dropped a beaker that smashed on the floor. "Oh bollox" she exclaimed for all the male staff to hear. Situation returned to normal and Claire was considered one of the lads and she probably swore more than most of us.

Iranu - that's just classic! And it probably sums up quite a few other things... like when me and my friends play dodgeball (aka... throw the ball at everyone else as hard as possible) we used to get girls standing around. We never really invited them to join us.. till one time they accidentally got hit and they immediately grabbed the ball and sent it right back into the guy's sensitive area as hard as many of us can throw. Needless to say, they now have an open invitation to play

JK Ferret - welcome to the 21st century. No one does anything because of compensation and liability now.

Although I doubt many of you have seen RVB (Stick Red Versus Blue into google... there's about 4-10 hours watching time of them...) it certainly isn't the correct manner to deal with women.

This is going on my (female) form tutor's desk tommorrow... she'll probably not find it so amusing..... But I found it hillarious
is RVB worth getting and watching? im a bit of a gamer if that helps

Re: Tips on How to Handle Women Employees

Hehe.. it's not really for gamers..

It's basically a pisstake of various films/movies carefully scripted/acted out using Halo 1-3 characters. It's funny though. I think the first 10 episodes include the naming of the warthog, the recruitment of a few new guys and the lines....

Red 1: Why are we here?

Red 2: Well... it's complicated. Some people say that the god....

Red 1: No. I didn't mean here.. I meant here.. like... right here.

Red 2: Oh... well.. Because the blues have got a base here.

    Red 1: But it's a box canyon!

Red 2: Yes... but the blue's HAVE got a base here. Over there. Over that nicely positioned hill.

Red 1: So then.. why are the blues here? In this box canyon... that you can't get out of, or into, without a space ship, the canyon with no strategic value?

    Red 2: Well.. I think it's because we've got a base here.

Red 1: So you're saying that the blues have got a base here because we've got a base here.. and that we've got a base here because they have. That just doesn't make sense!

First 10 episodes aren't that well filmed tbh, but the filming gets better... I advise watching at least the first couple some time. You'll want to watch all of them

Like I said... something like "Red V Blue eps 1" into google videos will get you the first episode (make sure it's season 1... halo 1 version as well) which is the best place to start. Otherwise you won't understand the characters/plotline.

If you only want a laugh stick "Red Vs Blue dibs" into google and find that episode... it's probably the funniest one.
