Winamp album randomizer

I want an album randomizer for winamp... do they exist?


When you select all your albums and mp3 files.... and select random on winamp it selects a random track....when that track finishes... it seeks again and picks a another random track.

i want to be able to select random... so it selects a random album/folder and continues playing all the songs from that 1 album/folder. Once that album is finished playing... randomly select another album/folder.

Does anything like this exist? I hope that makes sense

cant say ive heard of anything that does what your asking but i wouldnt mind some thing like that myself, im going to have alook for something todo so now

Why not select the folder above all the album? Then it'll play all the songs in that folder and all subfolders.

e.g. My Music\mp3s\Albums\ - then in this directory you have all the albums you want to play..

You've missed the point.



All my albums are on my F: drive.

Each album has its own folder.

So i want winamp to randomly select an album... play all the songs in sequence... and then go back and randomly select another album... and play all the songs within that album.

ive searched but cant find anything to do it ,could only find 1 program that actually allows you to play random albums/folders but play the tracks within the folders in order but it was nothing todo with winamp

If I knew anything about winamp plugins I'd write it myself - it would be relatively easy to randomise based on file location.

Sadly, I'm no winamp plugin writer.
