I also had the reebok pumps and puma discs as a kid at school.
I loved the puma discs as the support I got for my feet was superb, and I used them all the time when doing the 800m/1500m and javelin training.

What annoys me are those trainers with LED lights which flicker when you walk.
Trainers with lights were never around AFAIK when I was young... however, Reebok Pumps and Nike Air's were very fashionable. I remember buying a pair with my birthday money for about £50 (a lot of money for a teenage kid back then) and they got knicked the first day in School.
Stupid bullies.
No they weren't around at the time but at the moment my borther has a pair which literally is blinding!

I'm with the old farts in the "they didn't exist when I was a kid" story. I don't think the air bubble ones existed either, but I was brought up to believe that designer trainers were pointless, so maybe I just didn't see them![]()
