Well, I do feel like a bit of spammer signing up only to post an advert-like post. But it is the only way I can try and find a sample via the internet (I'm only a member of a few message boards, and I'm trying to get all types of people to participate).

Anyway I'm an MSc student at Leicester University. The research has ethical approval and is completely legit. It is looking at peoples' attitudes towards counselling i.e. what they think it involves, their expectations of it, would they use it, if they know much about it, if they would know how to access it etc etc. I'm guessing that people here might be more willing to take part in some 'e-research' and let me ask them such questions over messenger. It won't take long and it will hopefully be an interesting experience for you too.

I can't think of anything else to add. I would add my supervisors name so you could check I am legit but I don't think that is appropriate unless people are actually interested. Please PM me or e-mail me djh39@le.ac.uk.
