(Before you ask, I can play the guitar but I'm not a guitarist ... what I play has 4 or 5 strings )
The action on it is actually a little lower than im used to which is gonna take some adapting to.

    this one with the skulls?

    Thats the one Knox.

BTW, something I noticed on his which you can probably answer ... WTF happens to the strings, they seem to just dissapear into the body. Where do they go?

you thread the strings through the body from the back, can't take a pic right now though as the digicam is in the rents room.

My mate bought a BC Rich not so long ago was also a beast but the trademark one which one of the members of slipknot uses. Also had the words "hate" printed behind the strings.

Looks very good and also sounds it and he is very happy with it .

Not the biggest fan of BC Rich guitars, myself.. they often sound a little too top end (trebley) for me, and I'm not so keen on the metawl shapes they often come with. However! Models such as the Beast and the Warlock are seriously well balanced when played on the knee (ie, sitting down). Possibly the only guitar I've played that sits on my knee without overbalancing one way or the other was a warlock :>

I don't know exactly how much he payed but it was a fair bit, but as i said he really likes it and it sounds good.

This is the exact one in red from the BC Rich site...
