But this is still wrong, and I'd like to see this guy hung from the rafters and kicked with steelies. No matter how cruel the act, it's indicative of a type of human that should be treated like an animal.

These is one thing I simply don't get about animal cruelty sentencing.
10 year ban from owning a pet?
Why not life? Its not like its a major loss for this piece of scum beaing not beaing able to own a dog more then 10 years after sentencing.
On the jail term - seems fair TBH. He wasn't being too nice to his wife either.
