    Creating Polyphonic tones

    Is it just a case of making a bog standard midi and then doing err, something with it?

    Yeah, polyphonics are just midi's.

    However, I have no idea what the phones instruments will be.

    Well yeah, but the phone isn't going to support as many instruments as a modern sound card can.
