I really enjoyed it. Thought the way they pulled all of the previous episodes into the final one was quite well done, albeit it a bit implausible, but I certainly hope they do a second series. Certainly made a change from the endless "search for the next <pick your favourite musical/theatre role>" type shows that BBC seem to churn out now.

Bonekickers= retarded Americanized TV for idiots
I saw a few of them and they were painfully bad, almost like CSI. The WW1 tank one was the lmaop worst.

Zak, I respect you mucheraly, but you have the taste in TV of a 14 year old American girl, and it is, Sir, a most terrible taste.

    Bonekickers and X Factor?

What part of your brain says 'oooh this will be good' when those programmes come on?

Oh god, that really has to be one of the worst hours of TV I've ever seen - I was literally cringing with embarrassment for the actors. I kept hoping it was all a joke, and John Cleese would pop up with a bandage round his head, hissing: "Don't mention the war!!! I mentioned it once... but I think I got away with it!!!"

I think the script may have "got away with it" if there had been even the slightest evidence of self-parody but, deliberately "funny" lines aside, it seemed to take itself entirely seriously from start to finish (unless there were subtleties I missed by watching it mainly from behind the sofa).

I must admit I laughed a bit in the first episode, when loony Joe from Eastenders lopped off the Muslim's head (not because he was a Muslim, I hasten to add, but because he was a pious rubbishrubbishrubbishrubbish). Disastrous as that episode was, it all went downhill from there.

    Truly, utterly, mastodonically inept...

What, so you didn't enjoy this evening's 'Big Brother Olympics' event - 'Floating on Water With A Small Tropical Island Attached To Your Groin...?'

    Re: I loved bonekickers :)

I quite enjoyed Bonekickers. It could have been done better and the plots were fairly ridiculous, but it was worth an hour of my time once a week to watch it. although by the end the Magwilde character almost had me understanding why some women keep on getting abused. If she was my wife it would be all I could do to stop myself from beating the living **** out of her on a regular basis. What an irritatingly stupid woman.

(Disclaimer: This is not to say that I condone violence in any form especially towards women)

That summed up exactly how I feel about it.

Still have the last 2 episodes wasting space on my sky box that I can't quite bring myself to watch.

It was like CSi meets Time Team but written by the people that brought us El Darado!

Luckily I haven't seen any of the KS Code 9 episodes, thankfully!

    Re: I loved bonekickers :)

This got absolutely slaughtered by most media reviews but I really enjoyed what I saw of it - which was 4 or 5 out of what I think was 6 episodes.

It was nice to have something on TV that was not a repeat, a reality show or something involving celebrities!
