    Two Abbey workers trousered £120,000

Hello all, been such a long time since I've been around these parts but work has been so busy over the past 4 months I haven't had much free time. Things have slowed down a bit so usual service shall resume.

Funny story for you. My friend emailed me this link - http://www.thisismoney.co.uk/news/ar...moretopstories

Two bank workers stole thousands of pounds from cash machines by stuffing bundles of notes down their trousers.
I went to school with Simeon, wow how people change

Well technically, they already have, as they've been remanded in custody until the sentencing hearing. As for what the sentence will be, nobody knows until the hearing, but it would seem pretty likely as it's a substantial amount of money and by people in a position of some trust.

I've often pondered what amount would tempt me to do a bit of theiving. I think a one off big heist and then a lifetime in the sun is the best way to go or a trickle of a penny here, a cent there, on a massive scale and then quit on a specific date and leg-it would also do. Gotta stop yourself from being greedy and embarking on that (Sid Meier's) Civ addictive train of thought: Just one more go!

Nicking a few grand just doesn't seem worth it.

At least, that's what they assume they were doing shuffling down there and then entering the toilet cubicle together..

They're not going to go to prison.

However, they will have several very stern letters sent to them about the mismanagement of their accounts and will be asked to get in contact as soon as possible before being sent seven trillion leaflets about loans.
