I like it. Good spec, good price and a Cannondale. If that's your budget, I reckon it hits the spot for your intended usage.

Damn . . . now why didnt I spot that bike before?? Cannondale - Good brand, And almost all the componants are from well respected manufacturers . . . never heard of wellgo though (but thats pedals, so even if they arent great, easily replaceable)

Wellgo pedals are rubbish. I had a pair for about a week before they went in the bin and I got some proper Shimano ones.

In which case, if you want spd pedals, get shimano, if you want flat pedals, get the dmr v8s
I got a pair on my trials rig, best pedal i have ridden with ever cost me £18 from a local bike shop
Cahin Reaction Cycles is a well known store for bike parts, allbeit a tad expensive sometimes. I cant fault their service at all (link below is for the v8 pedals from CRC)

Not the same . . If you read up, there is someone who has used the wellgo pedals, and he thought they were pretty shoddy. Also spoke to a mate about the wellgo pedals, and he wouldnt touch them with a barge pole.

Not really relevant to your question, buy I just got some windup lights for my Bike, these ones are pretty good, nice not to have to worry about batterys/bulbs when off road.

I rode around on the Wellgo V8 type pedals for years, and my mum has put another 4-5 years of daily commutes on them after I lent her my bike. They've never shown any sign of wearing out, or even needing to be adjusted.

It looks like a nice bike for the money Gavin. Did I read it right that half your commute is off road? I take it there are showers at work?
