My bands new E.P : I value your opinions on it

Hi all. Ive not long got back from Berry Street Studios, London, where we have just recorded 'The Blood On Glass E.P'.

You can hear the tracks streamed directly from the internet here or by downloading a nice little standalone flash player (still needs to be connected to the net) here

I look forward to hearing your response, Thanks,
    Chris Traverse

we are gonna hold a launch party for the cd at the cafe soon. Also, anyone who knows of a good location for a video, let me know on here, as ive just had it confirmed that it will be played on a tv station in california. Basic idea is dark location, lots of people in a crowed. Us plaeying. Nothing majorly different. Im gonna angle in a storyline with a twist somewhere. We have a good production company who will help us with this.

Plus if you live in the brimingham / wolverhampton / dudley area, drop on by the website and sign the forum and tell us you want to be in our video ! (even better, join the mailing list )

    laterz people.
    Thanks for the feedback

Not my cup of tea, really. Hush was alright until the vocals came in - I'm not too keen on the whining thing. The drums sounded like they had a little too much topside to them, but I suppose that could just be my ears.

Good work though chap, keep it up. Seems you've already got some other ears pricked up on the forums

Just set up two SM58's in front of each speaker straight into a reel to reel - you been bootlegged! Haha! Um, no, not really, just kidding.

imo, it's good. The mix is OK as well, I reckon, I like the drums crisp, the vocals are up front, perhaps the guitars are a little understated, bass is good.

Have you sent out demos to loads of radio stations? You should. Very Bush/Staind.

Keep writing, try and get a couple of populist ones down, just to get noticed, a la Bush's 'Swallow'.

I'd put it on my playlist for sure.

Best of luck for the future, hope you manage to get signed. I'm just wondering what a top notch producer could do with you lot, could be interesting.

We just finished recording on friday so nothing has been sent out yet. Just finfishing the artwork. Got a lits of places to send it to. Thanks for the encouragement. Use compressors not sm58s, you'll pick up of the higher and lower end frequencies

thought 1st song was pretty rockin till the vocals came in to be honest.

not really my thing but for what it is it very well executed.

i actually like the tight snare drum but i think it cuts against the voclas a bit.

good luck anyways ur certainly better than 90 % of the tosh eing put out at the moment
