HI all, it's getting to that time of the year again, and my wife asked me what i'd like for Christmas this year.
I've usually got a whole list rattled out by this point, however this year's been a hectic one and i've not given it much thought so far.
It's fair to say i'm a gadget man, although i am wondering how many more i need as the store cupboard becomes more and more rammed with outdated junk (PDA's with broken screens, 48 MB MP3 players, 2 Megapixel cameras.... etc).
I'd very much welcome any ideas, but the requirement is that it's something that she can see (ie not a PC internal component) and hopefully something that will last (ie at least more than 2 years of me actively using it).
It doesnt have to be an electrical item either.
Cost - i'm unsure. I'd say ballpark £100 but it's not definite.
I am a sci-fi fan, and have a growing collection of display items (Star Trek, Star Wars etc).
I have so much stuff it'd be hard to list it (how greedy am I!), but the main items i have are:
Ipod 160GB, Nintendo DS, Wii, Upscaling DVD player, Laptop, Bridge Camera
The things i've got my eye on are:
Ipod Touch (although would prefer iphone when my current contract ends)
Acer Aspire One (or similar, really like the look of the Samsung NC10)
DSLR camera
Canvas Print of the family (but i might get that for her, and kill 2 birds...)
Guitar Hero World Tour or Rock Band 2 (i have GH3 with 1 wii guitar, i really want some multiplayer action)
Plasma / LCD TV (although will almost certainly buy this after we move house this weekend anyway).
Or maybe i should go for something low cost and save money?
Thanks for the ideas
PS i got Guitar Hero On Tour for my birthday though to save money, so perhaps splashing out at Christmas is ok
