    Help finding software....

i used to have a nifty bit of software (a setting?) that allowed me to 'flick' / 'throw' windows and they'd fly accross the screen. Having a 24" and 17" in dual screen setup makes dragging windows everywhere a pain at times and i remember this software used to be really helpfull if you just wanted a window out of the way.

Can anyone recommend me/know of any software that has this feature? cheers guys

Is this for Windows or Linux? I know I have seen something like that for Linux.

    Re: Help finding software....

program called ultramon has the features you want. You can make hotkeys to make the selected window go into the next monitor etc

    Re: Help finding software....

I swear you've been able to do this with the NVidia drivers in windows XP, mabye even in 2k too.

Its hardly a new feature, and i've never really liked it myself because if you've got 4 monitors as a 1*4 matrix, its too damned hard to get it to the right monitor.

iv been using ultramon for a few years now (god bless dual screen) so it could have been something i enabled on that? Then again it could have been something i did with the Nvidia drivers...
