New Virus Warning

Hi all,

Just got a spoof email claiming to be from noreply@ntlworld.com.

Message contained:

Dear user of Ntlworld.com gateway e-mail server,

Some of our clients complained about the spam (negative e-mail content)
outgoing from your e-mail account. Probably, you have been infected by
a proxy-relay trojan server. In order to keep your computer safe,
follow the instructions.

For details see the attached file.

It had an attachement that Norton detect right away, so I deleted the email.

The attachment was changed to a .txt by Norton I think...

Nah, the latest one is a password protected zip file, with the password enclosed in the text of the mail.

they'll try anything - Seen it posing as "you're machine is infected, he's the disifect tool, which for security we've password protected"
