oh dear someone down my street has already put Christmas lights up in all their windows and its only the 9th November.

Going to put our Dec's up in a week or two time!! Not outside mind you. Our 2 year old will love them!

Yep, one has even put an image projector up so it projects an image of santa onto another house. Im not a scrouge by anymeans, but it does irritate me when people put christmas things up this early. There is a pub I go to after sailing that was advertising christmas dinners mid september. Crazy!! Bah Humbug!

We usually put our Christmas decorations up at the beginning of December, I've seen started Christmas adverts in the shops and on tele but nobody's putting lights up round our way yet.

we put xmas deco up 2 weeks before xmas and take them down 2 weeks after... just a tradition we do as its bad luck after or before

can't remember which it is... but theres a town somewhere that put them up last month IIRC...

There are two houses down my road that always compete, the lights on are 24/7. I can't begin to imagine how much electricity they must use.

The town near where I live didn't even bother taking them down last year, they did switch the lights off though, and they're not back on again yet.

I've been running some tests for a while, but yes they are mad. Strangely, they haven't put up their decorations yet though.
