Once a pilgrim by Will scully

Right now, One Door Away From Heaven by Dean Koontz, very entertaining. Actually got round to reading The Hobbit & The Lord Of The Rings trilogy over Christmas time, I enjoyed those, don't know why I didn't read them years ago.
i'm on "The Silent Takeover: Global Capitalism and the Death of Democracy" by Noreena Nertz (THIS )
its rather heavy-going, but its a damn good book. very eye-opening and interesting. plus it was written recently so its pretty much up to date.
just finished Brave New World by George Orwell, which was amazing.

Stalingrad by Antony Beevor.
rearkable book. i feel so sorry for my brothers of mmother russia when i read it, 3 million died :/ in 1 city, the Brirish didnt loose 300,000 men, russia lost 27 million, waste of life or what.
oh and big al, read rainbow 6. one of the greatest fiction stories ever written.
Not really a novel, but I'm reading "The Art of Deception" by Kevin Mitnick
The Sword of Truth Series by Terry Goodkind.... nothing beats it!
I'm actually reading Asimov at the moment. He is, perhaps sadly, likely to be known to many only through his three laws of robotics. I was myself expecting science fiction, but in truth his books are about people, and the robots are only there to expore issues that people have, such as xenophobia and sexuality.
Been reading Robert Ludlem - spy stuff.
Currently reading Spitfire Ace, very good. Really enjoying it. Didnt see teh Channel 4 series. The book is more about the actual Battle of Britain, than the guy who is trying to learn to fly in 9 hours - dont know if the series was like that?
Read loads of SAS, Bravo Two Zero, Immediate Action, and Andy McNabs latest Dark Winter - greate . Also read Chris Ryan - Stand By.
May get some Tom Clancy to read next, think ill finish Spitfire ace this week. Or Maybe Robert Ludlum - the Borne Identity (if i can find it cheap on amazon marketplace.)

Principles of Yacht Design, as a bit of light reading - it's too cold to be "doing" sailing, so am reading about it. But also on the novel front: The Brentford Chainstore Massacre by Robert Rankin, it's the 5th novel in the Brentford Trilogy, still haven't worked that part out yet...?!?
