yeah, it could also be a base jumper with camera attached to helmet - hence a still from his video of the fall.
thats one thing thats always stumped me, the fact that skydivers wear helmets, surely if the worst comes to the worst then its fairly acceptable to assume that a helmet wont really prevent much in the way of injury when hitting the ground at 200m/s/s 9i think thats the right acceleration for terminal velocity...).
on the other hand i suppose it does keep the brain all neatly packaged up in one place preventing any splattering...

Light Over Water Photography
A helmet isn't going to help if your parachute totally fails, but it could be a bonus if you land in a tree or hit the side of a building. Or get hit by a model aeroplane or something.
