Clocks Go Forward This Sunday (29th)

Just a friendly reminder for people that the clocks go forward by an hour this Sunday morning. You lose an hour, morning will be darker (for a while) and evening will be lighter.

Not sure how/if it effects the broadcasting the Aussie GP this weekend.

It'll still be broadcast at the scheduled time, don't worry

I used to start work at 8 on a sat/sun a few years ago, so had to be up at 7. Was never nice in March when the clocks went forward.

    BAH!

More sunlight reflections on the monitor and lower overclocking and system backups that keep changing your clock back an hour

    I can't wait really.

Just so fed up of the darkness anyway, will be nice to get home in the light again!

Will be up with 99Flake (going to visit this weekend) to watch the GP this weekend though... in my 'jamas with a cup of tea I think. Too much sleep deprivation last weekend to stay up for it!!

Like having the rest of the light in the evening but don't like it darker in the morning.

Re: Clocks Go Forward This Sunday (29th)

I hate it when the clocks change, always takes me ages to adjust. Why not just adjust the clocks by half and hour and be done with it?

I've been waking up at 5 recently (even though my alarm clock goes off at 7) anyway, it's only going to get worse now!

Re: Clocks Go Forward This Sunday (29th)

I've been setting my alarm clock 10 minutes earlier each day this week, makes it less of a shock to my system having to get up an hour earlier - plus I should be awake enough to enjoy the GP on Sunday morning!

Well when the clocks go forward it will be 6 not 5 new time.... so surely if you mean A.M. then it will get better not worse?

Well the Aussie clocks aren't changing, so it's 5pm for both the qualifying and the race in their time, and 6am qualifying and 7am race our time, with the actual BBC programs starting 1 hour before these times.
I don't mean to sound cold, or cruel, or vicious, but I am so that's the way it comes out.
