Telling anyone is flouting security, even if you tell the Pope.

I'm not saying it's bad, just using it as an example of secuirty stuff......

I agree they appeared to have treated you in a harsh manner.

Doesnt sound as though the cashiers were very patient but still cant blame the bank for that. These security checks are a pain in the arse but they are neccessary because of all the thieveing scum out there determined to rip us off

I can understand why your miffed off lynni. If it was me i would no doubt be fuming as well. Im not sure as the letter to the bank will really achieve more than some more meaningless apologies- really not going to compensate for all the hassle you have had

Dont get me started on those damn atm's. After putting my switch in one (Lloyds machine, my bank is hsbc) the machine ever so slooooowly went through the usual questions, i put in £10 got my card back but.... ahrgggg.... oh no wheres my cash.... As i was on a night out i decided to leave the machine alone and use the one next to it. The new machine looked fine accepted my card then completely froze :eek i stood there for five minutes waiting for this stupid thing to do something- Nothing!. At this point i randomly start hitting keys/ mashing keypad with hand and i finally get my card back!

Im now very very careful using those particular machines- only did so because i really needed the cash, its a very popular mugging spot especially at that time of night! I ended up paying for drinks in the wetherspoons on my debit card dangerous that!
btw it didnt occur to me that i could get cashback until the guy at the bar said doh!

Anyway hope it all gets sorted lynni
