Just not nekkid please.
Good luck with the run, although 10k is easy. (Well, for me anyway)
I've been running on the flat and I know I can finish the run (though not sure of time!), now I need to start bumping the time and working on the slopes I'll have to deal with. It's amazing what a slight inclicne can do for your legs.
Also I should point out that while 10k is easy for people who are fit, healthy and active I've been working behind a desk in IT for the best part of 10 years. I'm a fat, unfit mofo and this run may be my last contribution to society
Forget the time, just concentrate on getting the distance done on comparable terrain if you can!
Yeah, I hear that, u wanna exercise on an Elliptical Trainer: that will prep you perfectly for it, it will also kill u if you are very unfit mind.
Still, if you can handle the flats then it should be easier for you to get into its stride. A rowing machine is also good for a full body work out, exercise on either of those for a couple of months and the 10k should be a breeze for you.
Bump for a good cause
A cheeky bump on this - I'm 3/4 of the way to my target of £500 with a little over a month to go - if anyone out there who hasn't already done so could chip in even a tiny amount it would be really appreciated by a very worthy cause.
And I'll not have to bump it again
I imagine the missus will be making sure pictorial evidence of an exhausted me at the finish line (though not Rox, as he's one grumpy mofo) gets posted not long after the event. Probably while I'm having my celebratory pint
Well... still waiting on my official time, but I believe it was a little over an hour. Anyone who has a few quid to spare please consider throwing it in the direction of the Alzheimers Society via the link in my sig.
It was awesome fun, I caught the sun and I can't wait to do another

Thanks again guys, official time of 58:04.
This is my chuffed face (will try to get the missus to show me the photos so I can get one uploaded)
