    Red Bull/Energy drinks + Mommy

I think I may have a mild addiction to these. I could stop drinking these if I really needed to. But I do not, so I do.
I started of on the Red Bull a few years back. And now I'm mainly on Relentless Inferno.
But I think it is really starting to bugger up my teeth. The ones at the back of my gob have warn away at the back. When I eat nuts I can feel them on my gums.
    Very Nartsty

    And.............

    Mommy.

you expect to have teeth with the sugar content of those cans of crap ?

pack it in, you WILL regret drinking it when you have no teeth and paying for your dentist to play golf.

I have not been to the dentist in a very long time. I may soon though.

I remember when I first starting drinking the stuff. I set up my laptop with Deus EX one night and drank something like a big 24 pack. Or maybe 12. It got to something like 07:00 in the morning and I felt tierd, shaky and energetic. I never drank that much in a night again.

Maybe something like 1 - 2 a day. And more recentley I started drinking Relentless. But I stopped as my teeth got sore for a couple of weeks and my teeth felt fine again. To look in the mirror my teeth look fine, I just have noticed they seem corroded at the back of my mouth.

It really is surprising how much it buggers up your teeth. And they seem slightly addictive.
Has anyone else had problems with these drinks?

I've always hated energy drinks - taste like crap and mess up your teeth.

I don't find it surprising at all that your teeth are going like that, have you ever checked the label?

And, 12 in one night... that's ridiculous lol!

I know. When I smoked I always had a moment where I would sit down and smoke a ciggie. My time out. When I quit I drank Red Bull instead. Although, only about 1 - 2 a day on average. I think Relentles has around 50grm of sugar in. So 2 = 100grm

I also find I get aggressive in irritating situations if I drink a few cans of Red Bull. Never violent, just angry. I do not get this with Relentless odldy enough. I swear it must be the Red Bull.

Yeah, I've got an empty can here, 52g of sugar per can, 230 colories.

I don't drink them often, probably drink about a 4 pack of relentless per month, just if I know I'm gonna want an energy boost, or I need to stay awake for long periods of time.
I don't mean to sound cold, or cruel, or vicious, but I am so that's the way it comes out.

I prefer the original brown relentless, the green ones shocking, the inferno's too sweet tasting, the new red berries one is 2nd best but not a touch on the original fresh out of the freezer (not frozen just in for 20 minutes to chill...)

Re: Red Bull/Energy drinks + Mommy

When I worked for a supermarket 8 years ago I had to start at 6am.

These were my party days so would typically only get about 2 hours of sleep, I used to have two red bulls and a coffee with sugar each morning, 5 days a week.

3 months later I had to have root canal surgery! Trust me, ditch the sugar.

I've been drinking a lot of relentless, red bull, coffee and coke these last few weeks (e.g. 2 coffees with 3 shots, 1-2 relentless, 1-2 red bulls, 2-3 cans of coke in a day). I find that relentless is pretty lethal compared to red bull. I'm looking forward to replacing all that with alcohol when my final year uni exams are over on Tuesday morning

Re: Red Bull/Energy drinks + Mommy

Your first mistake was not seeing a dentist in a long time, i think.

You should be going at least once a year just for a quick check up. End of the day, it might cost you a bit, but when they catch your fillings early and you don't have to pay through the nose for expensive and painful restructuring you'll be glad you went. Drinking that amount of sugar isn't good for you to begin with, but if it's got to the point where you've removed the enamel from your teeth, go and see someone before it gets really really bad.

How often do you brush your teeth?

Re: Red Bull/Energy drinks + Mommy

The worst thing you can do is drink something with lots of sugar then brush your teeth. Sugary things weakens the enamel on your teeth, and if you brush straight afterwards it actually brushes the enamel off your teeth. Very bad for them.
