I see stuff hasn't gotten around to correcting their little typo - 6 gigs rather than 6 megs me thinks.
Telecom NZ was advertising processing time there as early as December, but the grooviest part was the data transfer rates from APAC and EMEA... It was something like $50 a gig, based on you getting your data to an alliance head end... But you have the capacity to get 1.5Gbps from TVNZ or Sky Resource centers (down off JSTARS) down to Wellington... tres cool!

btw - apparently weta doco is going to be screened shortly - covers all of the custom development software wise that was done for them by (I forget the names - over in Ireland) with great interviews with Jackson doing his bit, and all of the actors doing a funky puff piece for him!
