look what they done to the cases forum?!!?! no need to seperate cases from case mods and why bring sff into it aswell?
too may sub forums is going to make it a pain in the arse to keep track of new threads and just generally browse
why is Distributed Computing still a main forum it should be a sub forum in software or internet its dont need to be there on the main page takin up space its the least used 1 there by miles

Well my first thoughts were that its gone a bit overboard....surely all the stuff is inter-related?
Splitting it up too much i think will make it longer to get comparisions. Also, people may mess sub-forums and end up posting in the main...such as with graphics card's.
Maybe it'll grow on my in the long term.....but im not convinced in the new stuff.

I wasn't convinced about the new layout a few months back. I thought it was a bit of a shambles, but it quickly grew on me and I got used to it. You'll get used to the new sub-forums, just wait a while
I myself own an ATi card and am not interested in nVidia cards, so browsing just an ATi forum will be cool

But if you never check the nvidia stuff surely you wont know if you are getting pwned by a new nvidia!? and surely you would want to know that

Hmmm.. not sure but it will probably grow on me! Seems a lot to scan through to find what you're looking for at the mo, but I guess once you know where you are it'll be better... Hope so!

I think there might be too many forums now, but maybe it will grow on me. For instance, like blockers said, a lot of the stuff is inter-related. It would be easier just to have cooling and graphics cards in the hardware forum so its easier to browse.
Also, by putting things in specific forums, less people might help. For instance, if I own an ATI card and am not interested in nVidia cards, then I won't look at the nVidia forums, although I might be able to help with problems.
Only time will tell... hope it turns out for the best! Sorry for being so pessimistic.

Not sure of this, maybe a bit too much too soon, i like the idea but i think it'll spread things too much, maybe having one cooling forum and one gfx card forum without all the different subs may have been a bit better, its gonna make getting advice on some things a bit more difficult imo and spread mods and knowledgable people too thin on the ground.
That may be complete waffle n i may live to eat those words but hey, tis what im thinkin at the moment.
There does seem to be to many forums and sub forums now but I guess time will tell, Hexus is growing all the time, this gives Hexus more room to grow
