This is something I have noticed with other overclockers complaints. You have a faulty product and they immediately suggest contacting the manufacturer (in this case the wrong one, but thats just incompetance). In this situation, it is the retailers responsibility to replace/repair or whatever, not the manufacturer. Some manufacturers will deal with consumers directly for this kind of thing, but not all will, and they don't have to, the retailer does. Another example of poor customer service trying to pass the buck.
