Went to LFCC yesterday, saw the Astray PG kit selling for... £220. *gulp*

Needless to say I did not buy it.

Would have been nice but waaay too expensive. I don't think Astray ever featured in Seed...though don't hold me to that! I didn't really like Seed.

The prices for imports are a little on the high side, the Astray PG kit is currently £120, (without shipping & taxes) but that kit is now Discontinued, so expect to see the prices going up. Also the exchange rate isn't helping things.

The Astray was never in Seed. It was in Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Astray, the usual spin-off series that the Japanese like to do.

Edit. Just noticed that there are two PG kits for this Astray. One is now discontinued, the other is still going strong, and slightly cheaper £107

And for those Gundam freaks out there, you really need the Gundam 30th Anniv Illustrations book. A look back at 30 years of Gundams, may need to rob a bank to afford this, its £60 before postage.

Looking back, I spent around £140 for the Astray and 'Special' parts red box. In 2007, for all the kits I hauled home with supplies (can sprays, and acrylic pot paints mostly) came to around 800 quid. Crazy expensive...when your crazy
