Every day Jay, every day. I haven't had time off from this place in almost 7 months and I am now finding the people and the place really grating on me. I wake up at 6am Monday morning for work and I am wishing for 4pm Friday to be here already.
I know exactly how you feel mate. I really do need time away from this place but of course the boss is on holiday and no one else can authorise leave. It's a joke mate, a month till the boss returns to :/
Life's never that bad, play some happy tunes on the way to work

I think it happens to us all, Jay.
Try to take some time out to relax when you can - those days off should definitely help.
Have a day in bed, just lay around & snooze all day. Helps me re-charge sometimes, even if I feel I have utterly wasted a day doing sod all. Oh the decadence!
Yeah I get that every day.
Those days you just cannot sit one out and get on with it without someone coming over, bringing what you were doing to a halt and crapping all over it with pointless crap. And making a big thing out petty little things. And it gets to the point when where they only have to open their mouth and you want to punch them in the face
If they had to go a day where they were only allowed to speak without putting someone else down for petty reasons or getting angry at the most stupid things then they would not speak.
It is like I hear one person say this area is a hard area.
No, it is a stupid area. If they can find any genuine reasons for the arguments and backstabbing I'll eat my bloody legs.
It is a jibberish society. They act all nice and buddy eh? And go along with everything the other person says. And then they will go behind that persons back and slag them off. They are not genuine people. But if this person were to walk past them and say nothing to them on a morning they will get offended despite knowing full well what they said about them the day before.

I wonder if that is in some way against the law actually. Whever anyone goes on holiday in our place there is always someone that can authorise leave.
They won't have an option soon as I have a months worth of leave I need to take before the end of September so I am going to take the whole of September off and if they refuse it I will just walk out anyway. I literally hate waking up in the morning and having to face this job most the time. It's only a handful of idiots that spoil it though.
