Yes, I noticed it. No, it's not a big (no pun) deal. And yes Google are putting a crazy spin on it. There is no good reason for changing the size of anything. It was fine as it was. It's no more or less now.

Same - I noticed yesterday - but my browser is so screwed settings wise from all the random testing we do here that I thought it was me.

I think google are playing catch up with Bing! The font size on bing is that size and I guess focus groups must have said that was something the prefereed about Bing. The google logos were fun, however the Bing background pictures are just stunning, I have to admit to checking everyday to just see what the picture is.

that sounds like igoogle with theme of the day :/ infact theme of the day is a lie because it seems to alter every hour or so
