    Anyone else like these style of Chinese Lanterns? *pic*




    Anyone know somewhere that sells them?

    They always make rooms/areas look warm & welcoming, i like it

    But seriously, you could make them from the cheap paper light shades, decorate however you see fit. Think you'd need a big room to get away with it.

    yeah but in Orange and Red?? I know you can get those cheap white ones, but painting them would look pretty bad

    you can buy them from any chinese supermarket, lots of places in chinatown.

    Goto Wah Hing on the Nuffield Estate (Poole). It's near Toys'R'Us (carry on past with Toys'R'Us on your left, it's the next road on your left...I think).

    They sell quite a few bits and bobs there as well as whole sale food. If they don't have a latern, I'm sure they can point you to a place that does.

    In Moordown (or maybe Winton...there is a Pizza Hut on the corner at the end of one road) there is a Thai market (by Somerfields) and also near there is another chinese outlet.

    should get a chance to go and see that area tomorrow

    Also, there's a level in Gears of War that has these lamps, it looks great but cant remember if its GoW1 or 2
