anyone do the London RatRace last weekend?

Was my first RR, and to be honest, wasn't too impressed. Not planning on doing it next year. There was too much MTB without enough variety at the CPs. The abseil was a non-event (esp compared to abbing down Twickenham Stadium last year), and the course felt more like follow-the-leader than AR.

It was well organised /smoothly run, but would prefer to spend my money on something that either is more interesting, or has more strategy to it.

FWIW, our team of 3 came about 55th out of 249 teams. Better than we expected, considering the amount of effort we put in.
