That doesn't surprise me. It's ok but it lacks the fun of sg1 and if you're going to go for babylon 5 style story arcs at least make SOMETHING happen in your episodes. The plot moves too slowly.

Yeah shame, had a lot of potential, but got to agree it moved to slowly, a series and a half to get to the bridge? Really?
The annoying thing is, they dont tell them half way thru a season so that they can wind it up, they just cancel it at the end of a season so we are left up in the air, same with Caprica...
Caprica was starting to get good.

I'm with you there. The previous episode really felt like the scriptwriters were going out with a bang, and this week's was pretty damn good too. Amazingly, they've managed to do time-travel without using it like a deus ex machina.
I've also enjoyed how they've touched on stuff you don't normally consider as part of sci fi.

No SG1 was the best early on not when they changed the crew but before daniel jackson ascended 3 million times.
When they were up against Apophis,
And with out sg1 there is no atlantis or universe
did really enjoy atlantis though But they ruined it by cobbling together that half assed end.
I am actually really going to miss this, damn syfy and there men in tights..
The last few episodes have been brilliant and now were going to be left with nothing..

finished watching season 1 on saturday. Sat down with the missus and watched 3 episodes an evening until we were finished with it. Both really Really enjoyed it now gotta wait until 4th july for the second season to land on disc so we can watch it.
Its a shame as the last few episodes have been great, seems to me that it is just starting to find its feet and the only way should be up from there.
First season seemed a bit of a mixed bag with the episodes, enjoying the new series though.
