BBC NEWS | South Asia | Maldives cabinet holds meeting underwater
"We're now actually trying to send our message, let the world know what is happening, and what will happen to the Maldives if climate change is not checked," President Nasheed said. "If the Maldives cannot be saved today we do not... feel that there is much of a chance for the rest of the world," he added.

And straight in with the non-sequitur flame bait...

So you don't like Clarkson/Top Gear for whatever reason, good for you. The fact that you own a decent PC and internet connection flies in the face of your frugal philosophy.

Re: Top Gear back Nov 15th....in HD!

It's a double edged sword, seeing gorgeous cars in HD will be amazing. On the downside, you will want them even more and will never be able to own them.
I do know everything, just not all at once. It's a virtual memory problem.

Re: Top Gear back Nov 15th....in HD!

Yes, after several hundred emails from you as to why you feel Top Gear needs to make the journey from the SD to the HD world, I can confirm that the team is now working with HD cameras on the new series.

What about the hundreds of thousands of emails about how suckful the last series was?

The last series was just repetitive drivel. It was far too dumbed down. It has too much about "torques" and driving sideways to show the cars are fast. If it wasn't so dumb it would be much better. I remember last series they had a car exhaust linked to a box of rocks that was supposed to show they could reduce carbon emissions and everyone was amazed at the "0" reading on the meter. That's not surprising when there's a blatant kink in the piping.

Re: Top Gear back Nov 15th....in HD!

Do any channels broadcast in 1080p yet or is it still the snide 720p/1080i ?
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.

oh right, because its Top Gear that courses that, not the fact we are horrifically over populated.

Bloody muppets. If you care about climate change, cull about 3.5 billion people. Moaning about Clarkson is just pissing against the tide.

Think of it this way, for every DB9 (£120k~ish), that is about 40,000 orphens that will die because the money wasn't given to charity. So in fact, clarkson is HELPING reduce climate change?
