    Dropping a Moose or some other large Deer-like creature on a hard drive will surely destroy it entirely....I think!!

    I can teestify to this, you used ALOT. My new laptop hard drive was lost in all that bubble wrap ! Still I have to say better wrapping that some of your competitors, a jiffy bag and some parcel tape.

    Not surprised at all that they could recover almost all of the data off the drie to be honest, just goes to show how good the platters are these days. Had it been a laptop hard drive though I don't think they'd have been so lucky, you've only got to tap them with the end of a screw driver and the platters shatter !

    I wouldent trust a seagate had nothing but duff harddrives from them.

    Same here, and a mate of mine has had nothing but problems with Seagate drives.
