All paid here - guess Rai has just got to approve my addition to the Hexus seating group
Rasher is usually pretty helpful in that regard
I would love to offer you a lift, but it would be an hour and a half to two hour drive past Uttox and back again, ontop of a 3-4 hour drive.
Dave, dont worry about it, I wouldnt expect some to make that much of a journey.
Finlay, thanks for the offer but I dont think that would be fair on you as you are already giving someone a lift and two people + two rigs + 2 lots of gear is quite a lot of space taken up already. If it's a really big issue I could possibly pick you up on the way as I'll come down the West Coast from Carlisle
I will wait and see what happens with Rasher and GameOn, if worst comes to worst, I would have to get the train and borrow/ lend a rig if there was one going spare, or not come this time and hope I have a car by the next one.
I didnt even mention a lift to Rasher, he just said he would which is cool of him, wanted to just keep people here up to date is all.
As long as I have time to get my stuff ready for the days, then that is all that matters.
It's really not that much of a problem (depending on the size of Matty's pc etc)
I'll probably be switching to my shuttle and taking my smaller monitor and the boot is deep, the shuttle + monitor won't take up much space at all. ~400l in my accord for luggage
If you needed to just bring yourself instead I'd be able to if you can borrow a PC for it
lots of gear? It's sleeping bag, inflatable mattress + pump, clothes + basic wash stuff for me... maybe a few pillows, get everything else food/drink wise at the Tesco.
Up to you of course but the offer is there. Google maps says the best was is directly between Liverpool/Manchester so it's not like I'm going out of my way
Antec 300, 23" monitor. and then just "accessories". then clothes and stuff, and something to sleep on.
Hmm I will sleep at the desk, or on the floor, not bothered about that lol.
Will wait a little longer to hear from GameOn and see.
I will be getting a new case for LAN - Antec 1200 with any luck so it will be reasonably big and then there is my 19" monitor and usual accesories, then whatever else I need, but buying from Tesco sounds like a better plan for sustance.
Cheers for offer and will keep it in mind.
