Swapsies (part 1)

OK, based on the success of the swaps we did last year I'd like to arrange more throughout the year.
Therefore what realistically would you folks like to swap?

I'm not talking high value items, owing to the problems that might arise, but low value stuff like books & DVD's that we know work.

So this is a general interest thread & later on I'll post a poll for people to vote on & register genuine interest.

Plus a big thanks to the swappers last year for making it a success

Grand idea

I participated in the film swap a while back, was pretty cool. Games would be pretty awesome, but i think it'd only be old games both for the minimum spec requirement and for the low value-ness.

Basically we all sign up on the thread, we send a list of what we have to one person (say 0iD). That person then randomly assigns people a thing from the list and sends each person an address. We all send things to our given address and then hopefully get something in the post!

Anyway, sounds interesting - only issue is going to be digging out stuff that's worth swapping but not worth ebay / amazoning! But I guess I'd be up for it, yeah

So, books, DVD's (age restrictions apply) and Games (age restrictions apply).

With games I suggest we have a platform dependent swap, starting with the most popular, be it PS3, Xbox, PC, etc, which will be subject to a poll beforehand to gauge popularity.

However, unless we get more interest it'll not be worthwhile tbh.

Yep, that's the plan

We did a DVD swap, and book swaps in the past with success. Just polling opinion as to what the membership wants.
