    Another laptop help page

Ok, so fortunately my mother has been ever so kind to lend me a lot of money due to my main system dying (me luvvly shuttle ) so i'm going to buy a laptop as it is for doing work on. Now what i want is something that's mobile (no alienware crap)

I've come up with the two following ones: (both the top ones on the page)

    L4000 Series

    Aspire 2000 series

So a weigh up between Asus and Acer. The system will be used for programming, general word processing and using Photoshop on it perhaps. I noticed that the L4000 series has shared VRAM which affects the performance and it only has 256MB of RAM but this one is smaller than the Acer.

Ideas pretty please with a cherry on top

    Thankyou

Well in my honest opinion KeZZeR, I would go for the Acer. It has the widescreen, 512MB of memory and also the added bonus of not theiving precious RAM for graphics

And to top it all off, it turns out to be cheaper even after all the bonuses listed above

We get either Acer of Fujitsu Siemens in at work, and i have to say that Acer rock and if you ever do have problems with it, they turn around the laptop within 3 days, AND they ask you if youd like your data backed up if they have to flatten it
