I am not a fan of movie ratings in the least, but I do not believe that dropping one class make a huge difference especially when you compare old movies to new ones. I am convinced that some of the older 18 rated movies would get 15 today.

Is Robert Rodriguez still attatched to this? If so there may be hope yet
I'm a bit surprised to see that so many people didn't enjoy AvP2 for what it was, pure fan service with a low quality script. After the first (properly horrible) attempt by Paul Anderson the general consensus of opinion, at least amongst my friends, was basically "Too much focus on the humans, not enough on Alien vs Predator fight scenes and not nearly enough gore because of its stupid PG-13 rating". AvP Requiem might have had very little going for it in the script or acting departments but it restored the gore (a bit too much in the maternity ward if you ask me) and it served up much cooler action sequences in my opinion. Granted it wasn't "Stop your grinnin' and drop your linen!" awesome but it was hardly an "express elevator to hell"...
I think he is, survey was asking if his name made me more likely to watch a film & a few other Q about him/some directors.
I can never remember which AvP was which, there was the one in the temple in the arctic & I thought I'd seen the other one but can't recall any details!

Other than the kids films (I'm not really the target audience for Spy Kids funnily enough ) I don't think he's gone far wrong since Desparado to be honest. Some of his films have been better than others but even The Faculty was watchable. I don't think he's sitting in the Directors chair for this anyway, from what I heard I think it was an Executive Producers slot that had his name attatched to it.
One in the Arctic is the first one, and you probably don't remember the second one because the close up action in the dark was fairly unwatchable. It carries on from the first film where the a Predalien burst out of the dead predators chest, cause havoc, and another predator comes to 'clean up' using some kind of blue liquid to dissolve the resulting mess. Beyond that, I don't remember much other than the unwatchable action.
Trailer in two days

I'm still not sure about the 'dogs' though ?.
There's a two minute long "sneak peak" available here as well. Nothing amazing but some interesting footage, I didn't know Walton Goggins was involved until I watched it.
And yeah Rob, it was set in a town in Colorado iirc.
Yeah, it does actually look pretty good from what I've seen there. Only thing is, I thought that about AvP2 and that turned out to be shockingly bad. Just where do they get some of these ideas from, blue liquid disolving everything hiding their existence? Thing is as well, the whole Aliens (xenomorphs) arrive on earth thing has been a long time coming and should have been totally epic yet they managed to just get it totally wrong on both films. I think what I really wanna see is Aliens meets 28 days later really.
HEXUS FOLDING TEAM It's EASY
Awesome!!
But who's going to beat these Predators now that Arnold is not around?!
These characters in the film, look like wimps! LoL!
It looks like Ridley Scott the director of the original Alien film is going to make 2 prequels of Alien.

Personally I liked both Alien 3 & 4, but I wonder how good these prequels will be without Sigourney Weaver
And what happened to the Predator shoulder gun that was handed over to the female president of wayland Yutani in AVP2?!
And how is it that the real Bishop appears to Ripley at the end of Alien 3 and tries ot convince her in giving him the Alien Queen, when he had actually died at the Predator pyramid in Antartica over 300 years before?!
All this makes no sense!

Great I imagine, she was the worst part of those films!
