Insert key in MS word?

Quick question, it has happened to me a few times much to my annoyance but I have finally found a time when I want to use it. How do I set up MS word so that when I type, it replaces the words after it. So if I have a page of text and start typing at the very top it will delete the words instead of pushing them aside?

My first thought was just press the insert key or double click the little "OVR" at the bottom of the page, but I thought I'd check before I posted, and that no longer works in Word 2007. Probably made it hard to do to stop people doing it by mistake

Anyway, here's the answer:
1. Click the Microsoft Office Button (top left), and then at the bottom of the dialogue, click Word Options.
2. In the left pane, click Advanced.
3. Under Editing options, select or clear the Use overtype mode check box.

Right click at the bottom, hit overtype, insert button now works
