Calling all fellow Hexites, you lovely lovely people.

    Hi all,

First off, Thanks you for taking the time to read this, hopefully i'll keep it short.

I have a bit of a request of you if you have a spare 5minutes to help out a good cause.

My brother Noel has committed himself to a challenge in order to raise funds for www.bliss.org.uk a charity to help and support premature babies.

I wont go into anymore detail as you can read about it more here on facebook, Watch a short interview about it here on BBC iplayer until sunday at least , or you can read more and donate here if you can afford to and wish to.

Now, donations are obviously the ultimate goal, but that is not necessarily what this post is about. Almost as important at the moment is getting as much awareness and support as possible to help spread the word, to reach more people willing to donate.

This is where i hope the Hexus community (and all the non-member guests) can come in, if you have a spare 5mins it would be amazing if you could take the time to go to The Facebook Events Page (Same one as in my signature) click attending (might attend may work too, not sure), then click the "Invite people to come" link in the top right hand corner and invite all the people you know, asking them to do the same. I would be extemely grateful for this.

If you've read this thank you for your time.

Obviously we want to try and make this as big of a success as possible, and have ideas to move forward with it such as, it's own website for people to keep track of how the challenge is going. Also, thinking of as many ideas as we can to get the marathons media coverage, like at famous places etc... (No.16 is this Sunday at stonehenge)

So any ideas/suggestions are also much appreciated.

    Again, thanks for your time.

    Adam

Is the charity faith based? You might want to say if it is, last time a load of people got their knickers in a twist because it was and they weren't told

EDIT: Got connection errors on facebook atm, but i'll try it later

No they aren't faith based, but a good point. A bit more info on their attitude to diversity can be seen here if people would like to see it.
