    Miliband... a measure of what?

We have the millivolt (a thousandth of a vot) and the milliamp. It seems we have the milliband (at least two) - so what might the milliband be a measure of?

1 part Labourers blood, 2 parts pollution from the North.
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.

It could be a measure of how far one's eyes could pop out of one's head ie:

"His eyes were huge! They were protruding at least 5 millibands from his face..."

Well they do say "Ignorance* is bliss"... ;-)

*In this case, any understanding of the litany of mistakes and injustices foisted upon our nation by the previous 13years of Labour Government.

The really scary thing is the picture of Milliband on Wiki... he looks like a cross between Gordon Brown and Michael Portillo

Re: Milliband... a ameasure of what?

Personally I think its a wave length of the electro magnetic spectrum.

From the picture we can see the milliband is the range known as AM radio.

Re: Milliband... a ameasure of what?

Could be a ratio - hope/expectation. Of course it thaen has to be referenced to something - so if you took Harriet Harperson as 0 millibands so the unit would be mBhh - the Ed Balls is up20 millibands more, John prescott might be -500 milliband,
and Ed milliband himself might be +500

Re: Miliband... a measure of what?

So now we know - the miliband is not a ratio, it's new constant; 51/49 or appropriately 1.040816327

Re: Miliband... a measure of what?

The news last night was so annoying. Hes stepped back. So what? Same questions again and again to him. Rubbish. Very slow news day. I bet even todays papers will be full of it trying to rinse the story dry as per usual.

He lost, and has done something gracious I think. End of. Hate all this 'analysis' into it. Show me some real news. Heck I'll even take the flying Humvee ... http://www.engadget.com/2010/09/30/f...-like-a-reall/

Re: Miliband... a measure of what?

I thought his handling of the questions by Nick Robinson last night was very good - it was good humoured, and I thought that in general he seems more assured (as you would expect with his experience) and confident than his brother.
