There's no such thing as the midlands, there's just north and south and a few wishy washy brummies who can't make their minds up.

Anywhere south of watford gap is south - there's even a sign that says so.
The map does not lie!!! They talk odd in the Midlands too, you know (and Leeds just scrapes into the North on my map...)
And frankly, fin would probably complain that my line for the north is much too far south - I know my wife would...
oh, and p.s. - although it's hard to see, the line separating Midlands and South on that map runs almost exactly through Watford Gap - it might be just a couple of miles too far north: but pretty much we can all agree on that one I think
