Google Chrome & lazarus form recovery

Does anyone use them both? I used to use Lazarus form recovery in firefox & it worked really well when firefox crashed on me.

With google chrome I have installed lazarus but it doesn't seem to do anything, it doesn't brig up any options when I right click on a text box I previously had text in.

is there anyone using them both?

@Andehh: Lazarus for chrome, is still in beta mode and is nowhere near as powerful as Lazarus for Firefox. Lazarus for chrome will only save textareas. It doesn't save whole forms, and doesn't work on wysiwyg editors either

To recover forms in chrome you need to click on the Lazarus icon that appears next to a supported textarea on the page and then a menu of items to recover should appear. Read the chrome specific FAQ (http://lazarus.interclue.com/faq-chrome.html) for more.

Thank you werehammer, a good first post! Hopefully you'll stick around

Thanks for clarifying it for me, it's felt my wraith a couple of time when I have lost large posts but at least I can expect it now!

Yeh the Firefox version is so stable and reliable that you can actually feel the "trust" people put into it.
I don't worry about closing all my tabs in one go, because I know Lazarus has my back.

With Chrome however that trust is not there, it's just too unreliable. So I've gone back to the drawing board with it and will be redeveloping it over the next couple of months (if I can make the time) with stability as the key, rather than any given feature.

This means you won't see any improvement in the chrome version for a while unfortunately, but when the new version comes out it should be pretty reliable.

Thanks again for the update, I do look forward to it being released. One of the best plugins I have come across! I never used it that often but when i did I was over the moon
