Surely its easier just to have more animals than cloning one ?
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.

Assuming that article is correct it's not really cloned meat - it's the offspring of a clone a generation or so down the line. Personally I'm not that fussed about it, provided sufficient genetic diversity remains across the breed as a whole I don't see what problems could arise.
Was on the front cover of the daily fail today:

I saw it on the news this morning and thought "that can't be cost effective, what's the real story here?"

I bet it's good milk!
I'm not convinced there's any real cause for concern, at least in terms of human health and safety, as cloning is simply replicating an animal that people would have eaten anyway.
However, the point regarding biodiversity being put at risk is a definate concern, and I'd be very worried if this becomes the "norm"

This is bunny and friends. He is fed up waiting for everyone to help him out, and decided to help himself instead!
US has been supplying hormone supplements to cows so they make more milk but not cloning the stuff
It's cheaper and more cost efficient to just breed them anyway from memory and knowing farmers, to breed them the milk becomes better too due to the hormone levels as opposed to faking the birth cycle. I forget the acronym but it's legal in the US but not in the EU from memory, but that was some years ago.
Cloning meat is just stupid, a chicken is reared from egg to slaughter in less than 30 days with modern farming methods (they fatten up so fast the legs cannot support their own weight hence the black burns.... those are ammonia (aka pee) burns), doing so in a lab is just stupid
Responsible journalism at its best, thereDo you know who the farmer is? If so, contact the Daily Mail newsdesk on 020 7938 6000 or news@ dailymail.co.uk.
its funny the very people that say its safe ony eat organic.

Organic is more dangerous than GM produce, mainly because GM allows crops to be resilient to disease that needs harmful pesticides/chemicals to protect against, the lack of genetic variation is widely believed to be the main benefactor to the catastrophic potato famine in Ireland because of blight.
Long story short.... organic is a crock and isn't viable as a way of providing food for the world, maybe if people focussed on feeding those that NEED it as opposed to stunting technology advances less people would be starving while people throw out bins full of uneaten food on a regular basis
