Also the amount of phones people return on the 3 network is phenominal. It is really bad. If I were you stay with a normal operator.

3G is shocking atm, my parents have one (nec e616) and its HUGE, even the new LG one is still fairly large (bigger that my gx10i) and its also a half crippled 3G fone (no bluetooth, mmc slot etc). The taffif is great but...fones are shocking.

Plus when u aint in a 3G area your on **in 02 - not the best networkin the country and to make things worse, 3 aint got that sorted properly yet as theres no MMS or Internet working over it yet. its just retarted imho - goto vodafone and get a decent fone - you pay more but its worth it for the QOS that u get

Cheers for the feedback guys, the only reason i looked at 3G was because of their tarrifs, i use over 400 mins a month and do a few texts, so the 500 free mins and 75 texts for £30 a month was ideal, but if they are really THAT bad then i can hold on a while

Altho... i have just canclled my contract with vodafone :/

phone orange, they have something called OVP where they match competitors tarrifs, you may get in luck and they will match it and you get a decent small phone, with that monthly you could prolly get a free 6600 nokia, V600 Motorola...worth doing....
