The geo-location services are actually quite dangerous. There have been cases of criminal gangs preying on people who use these for obvious reasons and some insurance companies will bump up premiums or refuse to pay out in cases of burglary.

The geo location thing is a good idea in theory but I can see way to many bad uses for it. Like FourSquare. Who cares if you have been to a store more times than anyone else?

I tend not to post anything on FaceBook when I know if I go out that there will be nobody home other than the cats. It's a bad thing to be burgled, it's even worse when its done by someone you know.
