Exclamation Is your account playing up?

A small number of you might find something weird happening with your account in the next hour or so (and the last half hour).

This is nothing to be worried about, but simply means I'm restructuring some User Groups to take advantage of some new VB3 features. It will only affect a couple of dozen of you, and probably, at most, for a few minutes.

Also, once I've finished, you won't see any difference from now so if you don't notice anything having changed, this either doesn't affect you or you missed it

Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause. Normal service will resume as asoon as possible.

lmao, there's a reason for everything. Surely he wouldn't be doing it just for the fun of it.

Aha - someone that doesn't properly read what I said

It WILL affect some of you - you just won't SEE any differences.

VB3 gives us the ability to automate some features, but doing so requires things to be set up in a slightly different way from the way they were. The changes have now been made, and anybody that it did affect should now not be able to see any difference. But there was a brief period, per user, where things MIGHT have looked slightly different, while I was changing things about.

I'll give you a "for instance" of the sort of thing I'm talking about. Some aspects of the feature set available to members are defined by the User Group you belong to. VB3 now gives us the option to automatically change a member's User Group when certain criteria are met - such as postcount, how long you've been registered, your reputation level ......... or a combination of a variety of factors.
