BBC here too. I pay for a license so I ought to use it. It's worth the price to have a site focused on news instead of weight loss pills.

I use the beeb and euronews.
The bulletins might only be a few sentences but it's enough to look further into.

BBC - used to be the Telegraph as first stop until it started morphing into the mailygraph.

If it's local news I check out the Manchester Evening News website or Bolton Evening News website and laugh at the stupid comments people put on there (apart from Mike Fishcakes comments )

BBC and Semi Accurate.
The Onion offers some pretty deep insight into current affairs.
thedailymash
or da beeb
BBC really is second to none!
Heh... I will only ever post on there for important reasons - I will not get dragged into any sort of debate on there. If there was a story about fluffy kittens curing cancer they would find some way to complain about immigration or "pc gone mad".
Like MaddAussie though, I actually do find out a lot of stuff from the Daily Mash. I see a story that looks interesting and think "ooh i wonder what real story that's based on?"
