    Fundraising Ideas?

Anyone have any good ideas for fundraising events please?

Events need to be suitable for school years 7 - 11 to participate in and need some original ideas for 9am Fri 14th.

I've always loved the "its a knockout", two competitors on a frame (padded of course, bashing hell out of each other with very padded mallets or pillows.

You get the school to release to the kids thats its happening, do it as a settle arguements, type of thing, get all friends to have a go and charge 50p a match or something.

Kids love it, you get the whole playground talking about it, and for goodness sake get the kids to make the teachers fight too

The whole school will definitely remember it

oh, and if you have 'houses' at this school (or a similar concept) then how about a 2p race? we had them at our school every year - basically, you lay out 4 tracks round the playground (have to be quite long), get everyone to bring in ALL Their 2ps and over the course of the day they can add them to the course. the winning 'house' is the one which crosses the line first/gets furthest and gets 100 house points..

How about sponsored skipping, goal shoot, number of basketball hoops or something like that?
Activities are usually better for kids arent they? And as the weather is so nice it would be better to get them outside doing something.
I like the idea of doing something versus the staff tho - could be a good crack, for those watching!
