all previous exams are going to seem easy the year after once u've done the next level up.
The main difference between school and college and college and uni, is that you get less and less input from the teachers/lecturers. In school, you get practically one to one help and attention, in college (i cant comment i havent been to college, we dont have 6th form in scotland ) i'm guessing it's similar to school but with more responsibility put on you to study, then in uni, u've got one lecturer teaching between 300 and up to 1000 students, so it's really up to YOU to do the studying. Most look forward to 1st year and the freedom etc, and most unis take that into consideration and make the first year a sort of foundation/revision year to make sure everyone's at about the same level, then by second year u're expected to have settled down and take full responsibility for your progress.
Admittedly, this year (my second year) i've been really slack and not done as well as i maybe should have, but i do blame myself, and i know i could have done a lot better if i'd put the work in. A lot of subjects seem really easy at gcse and even A level, then you go on to uni and it's a WHOLE different ball game, it's actually quite frightening the amount they try to cram into one term/semester.
I'm in the middle of sitting my 2nd year exams at the mo. Had 2, no idea how they went, but i think i stuffed the 2nd one up... got 3 more to go, 2 next week and one the week after, then i'm finished. But i'm pooing my pants about the last 2 cos they're the most difficult and the ones i have to do best in :/ Chemistry... *sigh*
Good luck to everyone sitting exams
